What You Will Be Doing

As an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / LGV Fitter / HGV Fitter you will be responsible for:

• Servicing and repairing HGVs, LGVs and commercial vehicles to DVSA and manufacturer standards
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults across HGVs, trailers and LGVs as an experienced HGV Mechanic
• Completing inspections, maintenance and documentation accurately
• Supporting workshop productivity and maintaining a clean, safe working environment
• Staying up to date with technical training, product updates and new vehicle technology as a Commercial Vehicle Technician

What You Will Need

To be considered as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, LGV Fitter, HGV Fitter or Commercial Vehicle Technician you will need:

• Proven experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, LGV Fitter or HGV Fitter within a commercial vehicle environment
• Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
• Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills
• Full UK driving licence
• HGV Class 1 licence (desirable)
• Experience in a main dealer or fleet maintenance environment (desirable)
