HGV Supervisor Location: Leeds Pay: 20ph Hours: Monday - Thursday 8am -4.30pm and Friday 8am -3.30pm 50% on the Tools -50% off the Tools Overtime paid at 1.5 About your new company My client is a large fleet maintenance company based in Leeds, due to their continued growth they are now looking for a skilled HGV Supervisor to join their ever growing team -this role would be 50% on the tools and 50% supervisory so would suit someone looking to take the first step into a managerial role. About your new HGV Supervisor role You will carry out maintenance, repairs and modification work on the fleet of HGV trailers, tankers and provide technical support from fault analysis through to competition. Supervise/Mentor less experienced Technicians Assist in the fault diagnosis process. Comply with warranty procedures during repairs and with warranty material on completion of a repair. Road test vehicle when required (if holder of HGV licence). Ensure that all vehicle defects are reported to your workshop controller Fitting pumps and meters, repairing barrels, accident damage repairs to tanker body work, fabricate components, perform tank pressure test inspections.
