Junior Manufacturing Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a Junior Manufacturing Engineer to join a growing and well-established engineering and manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity for somebody at the early stages of their engineering career who is looking to develop within a structured manufacturing environment.

The role would suit either a recent engineering graduate or somebody who has recently completed an apprenticeship and already gained some exposure within a manufacturing environment. The business is looking for somebody hands-on, motivated, and eager to develop their knowledge across manufacturing processes, production support, and engineering operations.

The Role:

Working closely with manufacturing and production teams, you will support a variety of engineering and administrative functions to help ensure smooth day-to-day operations across the manufacturing process. You will gain exposure to production documentation, engineering specifications, route cards, production tracking, and first article inspection processes.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support general engineering and production administration activities
* Print route cards and create production packs including drawings and documentation
* Generate and maintain basic route cards
* Access and review engineering specifications
* Create manufacturing documents and work instructions
* Balloon engineering drawings to support first article inspection processes
* Maintain customer order books and provide updates to clients
* Work closely with production teams to support job tracking and problem solving
* Assist with manufacturing process improvement and day-to-day operational support

What We''re Looking For:

* Engineering graduate or recently completed apprenticeship
* Minimum 12 months experience within a manufacturing environment
* Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
* Understanding of BOMs and manufacturing processes from raw material through to finished part
* Awareness of supply chain and production processes
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Proactive and problem-solving mindset
* Committed to working safely and maintaining 5S standards
