Our client is currently looking for a CNC Machinist to join their high precision manufacturing team. The CNC Machinist will be operating 3, 4 and 5 Axis CNC machines and ideally have experience of using Fanuc controls.This will be working on a late shift of 12pm - 10pm, Monday - Thursday. Key Responsibilities for the CNC MachinistOperating any of the company''s VMC and 4 or 5 Axis CNC machinesPerforming First Off s, checking dimensional quality and amending machine settings in pursuit of component design requirementsOperating to an acceptable production target whist maintaining a high standard of quality where ''right-first-time'' is paramountSetting up and operating all types of manual machining equipment, covering milling, turning, grinding and marking processesKey Experience for the CNC MachinistPrevious experience as a CNC Operator on either 3/4 or 5 axisAn excellent attention to detail and mechanical dexterity when dealing with small precision partsProblem identification and rectificationAbility to read engineering drawings and comprehension of geometric tolerancingGood working knowledge of both ISO 9001 and AS9100 Quality SystemsPlease apply as directed!
