Durability and Robustness Programme Leader

Our OEM Client based in Gaydon, is searching for a Durability and Robustness Programme Leader to join their team, Inside IR35. This is a 12-month contract position initially until 31st March 2026, with the potential for further extensions.Umbrella Pay Rate: £33.64 per hour.This role is within the Durability and Robustness attribute which is part of the wider driven attribute integration organisation of our client. The Programme Leader role is to ensure all customer expectations for Durability and Robustness are met with appropriate target setting, design development and completion of whole vehicle verification activities using both virtual and physical test methods.Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities: Support delivery of all Attribute Requirement targets by Gateway.Support the Programme Attribute Team to ensure all technical issues are identified and resolved.Detailed strategy and delivery planning for the attribute covering CAE, Road Load Data, Vehicle and System rig tests and driven vehicle DV activities.Working with system and component areas to define and maintain cascaded target requirements in support of overall vehicle level targets.Work with Component Engineers and Suppliers as required to drive resolution of engineering issues.Deliver technical recommendations and test and issue status reports.Work on tasks to ensure all lessons learnt from the current vehicle are captured and fed back to the Programme Attribute Team and progressed as necessary.
