Health and Safety Manager - Laboratories
Salary: up to -50,000, plus benefits
Location: Oxford (5 days per week on-site)

We are seeking a highly motivated Health and Safety Manager for a dynamic life sciences property and lab operations facility. This hybrid position plays a crucial role in supporting scientific clients and maintaining high standards of safety and operational excellence.

The successful candidate will:

• Act as the primary onsite liaison for lab clients, managing onboarding and ongoing client services.
• Oversee day-to-day building operations, including maintenance, repairs, and safety procedures.
• Coordinate laboratory safety, chemical inventories, equipment installation, and compliance protocols.
• Manage hazardous waste disposal, lab permits, and incident documentation.
• Support community engagement activities, events, and client feedback initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Extensive experience in property or laboratory operations within a life sciences setting.
• Strong knowledge of lab safety procedures, chemical management, and compliance standards.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple operational workflows and client relationships.
• Good organisational skills with a solutions-driven, customer-focused approach.
• NEBOSH/H&S qualified would be desirable
