Our team received a Procurement Excellence Programme Award for excellence in procurement and supply chain activities.The OpportunityThis role provides the opportunity to further capital procurement and consultancy experience, working with highly skilled teams to deliver industry leading programmes and projects advice to large global brands on exciting transformational energy investments.Main ExpectationsAs required, lead or support procurement engagements across multiple programmes, projects, and commissions, helping clients progress toward better green, sustainable outcomes across numerous renewable energy asset typesDeliver and continually improve clients\'' performance and meet targets across key capital procurement themesSupport the development of the renewable energy procurement services provided by TandTLead or support business development for renewable energy procurement and the wider Contract Services capabilityProvide hands-on support to deliver team and wider business targets in TandT including Business Generation, Service Excellence, and Operational and People-based growth objectivesWe are looking for individuals with knowledge and experience embedding excellence into end-to-end procurement activities, with core skills across end-to-end procurement, supply chain management and/or contract management. This includes the following:Major capital programmes and projects procurement strategy and implementation throughout the procurement lifecycleContract managementSupply chain intelligenceSupplier evaluation strategiesSupply chain managementContract terms, negotiation, and awardExperience in one or more of the following technologies (desirable but not essential):Hydro-ElectricOnshore and Offshore WindTidalEnergy from WasteHydrogenSolarCarbon CaptureNet ZeroBiofuelsGeothermalCombined Heat and Power (CHP)The OfferAt TandT we pride ourselves on developing our teams, offering a path to rapidly progress within an entrepreneurial and growing team. There are opportunities to travel nationally and internationally to service and manage key commissions for our blue-chip client portfolio.QualificationsTo deliver value for our clients we are looking for a mixture of the following:Preferably a degree related to Procurement, Supply Chain, Sustainability, Business Management, or similar disciplinesHas achieved, is working towards, or is willing to work towards at least Level 4 Diploma in Procurement and SupplySecurity Clearance (SC) – currently valid or could be reinstated; not essentialExperienceWider procurement consulting experience gained from client, contractor, or professional services organisationExperience in responsible sourcing areas including human rights, environment, health and safety, anti-bribery and corruption, and labour practicesGood understanding of UK and international energy sector, related technologies and regulatory environments is desirableExperience of successful supplier engagementBehavioursConfident, independent, and able to work autonomously without supervisionAbility to manage work, business development, and career development activitiesExcellent communication skills, written and verbalExperience in compiling reports and research documentationConfident in client-facing roles and collaborating with stakeholdersGood IT skills and interest in tools, systems, and dataDriven to get resultsAbility to collaborate and work within a team to achieve outcomesAdditional InformationOur people share our Purpose and Values.
