Job Overview We are looking for a reliable HGV driver with a minimum of 1 year of experience (recent recorded experience on the Digi Card) and with no more than 6 points on the licence (No DR, DG, CD, DD, CU Endorsements) The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of goods, ensuring on-time deliveries, whilst adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills and the ability to manage deliveries efficiently. Responsibilities Operate a lorry to transport goods to various destinations safely and efficiently. Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order. Maintain accurate delivery records and complete necessary paperwork. Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies during transit. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle is upheld at all times. Qualifications Valid C+E Driving Licence, CPC card, and Digi card. Proven experience in a similar role (preferably) Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations. Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record. Good organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping.
