This temporary position, based in Westminster, offers an exciting opportunity to shape the learning strategy for the Armed Forces Recruitment Service (AFRS) programme. As a Learning and Development Transition Manager, the successful candidate will lead a team of specialists and Instructional Designers to design, develop, and implement a robust learning strategy aligned with Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT) methodology. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute the AFRS learning strategy and transition plan. Design and deliver innovative learning programmes for civilian and military personnel. Manage stakeholder engagement, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Oversee apprenticeship delivery and compliance with regulatory frameworks. Utilise performance data to drive continuous improvement in learning outcomes. Essential Skills and Experience: Significant experience in Learning and Development leadership roles, particularly within Defence or Government sectors.
