About the Role:
We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Leicester. This is a full-time position with an end date to be confirmed, offering an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and strong ECTs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
• Support students in developing strong literacy, analytical, and communication skills
• Contribute to the wider school community and departmental development

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching English in a UK secondary school setting
• Strong classroom management skills
• A genuine passion for education and student development
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
