Lead Risk ManagerLocation: Southampton OR BasildonContract: 6 months Pay:Up to 60p/h (Inside IR35)Please note that due to the nature of the work, you will need to already hold active SC security clearance. Responsibilities:Facilitate risk identification, review, and assurance workshops, providing challenge and guidance to improve risk quality and maturity.Deliver training, coaching, and mentoring to individuals and teams to embed consistent, high-quality risk management practices.Review and assure risk registers, assumptions, quantification, and mitigation plans to ensure completeness and robustness.Support assurance activities and provide input to internal reviews or audits as required.Analyse processes for collecting and storing risk data, including for the purpose of ensuring data qualityProducing risk reports, ensuring timely, accurate and decision-focused insight in line with reporting cyclesAdvising on appropriate risk treatment and mitigation strategies Essential Skills and ExperienceDegree in a technical or business subjectStrong knowledge of enterprise and project risk management frameworks and standardsSignificant experience in project or programme risk managementHighly numerate with experience of statistical and financial modelling (e.g. competence in quantitative risk analysis, including Monte Carlo techniques)Sound understanding of contingency setting and management aligned to risk exposure.Experience translating complex risk information into clear, ..... full job details .....
