Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm, Term time

About the Role:
As a SEND Support Worker, you''ll provide hands-on, personalised support to students whose needs require a little more - more patience, more creativity, more consistency. Working closely with teachers, therapists, and families, you''ll help remove the barriers that stand between a young person and their potential. It''s challenging, meaningful work - and no two days will ever be the same.

What We''re Looking For:

  • Experience supporting young people with complex SEND needs - in a school, care, or specialist setting
  • Confidence working with students with PMLD, SLD, ASD, physical disabilities, or sensory impairments
  • A warm, person-centred approach with genuine commitment to student wellbeing
  • Ability to follow detailed support and care plans accurately and consistently
  • Any experience of BSL, AAC, Makaton, or other communication approaches is a strong advantage
  • CACHE, NVQ, or relevant health and social care qualification desirable

To Be Eligible You Must:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Have an enhanced DBS certificate already on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
  • Provide two professional references from child-related roles
  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
