Supply Desk is seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant for a full-time role in a energetic Ofsted andldquo;Goodandrdquo; rated school in Southampton.

This role is open only to qualified HLTAs who have the strength and experience to deliver whole-class teaching, lead small group sessions, and run targeted interventions. Youandrsquo;ll play a key role in maintaining high standards of learning and behaviour across the school, with the support of Learning Support Assistants (LSAs).

About the Role:

• Provide whole-class cover during teacher absences, using pre-prepared lesson plans
• Work across all primary year groups as required
• Lead interventions and small group support for targeted pupils
• Collaborate with LSAs to ensure every pupil is engaged and supported
• Foster a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment
• Opportunity for a permanent contract for the right candidate

We''re Looking For Someone Who:

££ Holds HLTA status or a Level 4/5 qualification equivalent
££ Has proven experience delivering whole-class lessons
££ Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management
££ Is confident working across the primary age range
££ Is proactive, flexible, and a team player
££ Is passionate about making a real impact in childrenandrsquo;s education
