Our client is a well-established Tier 2 Main Contractor based in the West Midlands, delivering projects across a range of sectors including education, commercial, industrial, extra-care and healthcare. Due to continued growth across the Midlands region, they are now seeking an ambitious Assistant Site Manager to join their production team and support the successful delivery of construction projects.The RoleThe Assistant Site Manager will support the Site Manager and wider project team in the day-to-day management of construction activities on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with the coordination and supervision of on-site construction activitiesSupport the management of subcontractors and trades on siteMonitor progress against programme targets and report on site performanceHelp maintain high standards of health and safety across the projectEnsure works are completed in line with company quality standards and specificationsCarry out site inspections, inductions, and toolbox talksAssist with managing site documentation and reporting requirementsSupport the sequencing of works and logistics planningWork closely with the Site Manager to resolve site issues efficientlyBuild positive relationships with clients, consultants, and supply chain partnersPromote a professional and proactive culture on siteEducation, Skills and ExperienceRelevant construction qualification such a
