Location: Siemens Energy/ NeuConnect Converter Station, Grain Road, Isle of Grain, Rochester, Kent, ME3 0AW

Contract length: 12 months contract subject to extend

Rate: £550 to £580/day outside IR35

Work Hour: 3 days in the office, 2 days WFH - hybrid

Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO and MSP Recruitment Services are currently recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor working on behalf of a leading Energy services company.

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to manage building services and erection and commissioning (EandC) subcontracts. You will assist our existing Main Civils Quantity Surveyor when workload allows, prior to EandC works commencing. Some of other duties include;

Responsibilities

Manage building services and EandC subcontracts.

Assist the Main Civils Quantity Surveyor.

Manage change and claims. Forecast liabilities.

Utilize methods of measurement and re-measurable contracts.

Verify measures using drawings.

Perform other standard Quantity Surveyor duties.

Requirements

Experience in quantity surveying, preferably with exposure to building services and EandC.

Experience with MF/1 and FIDIC contract forms preferred. Strong understanding of contract law and procedures.

Ability to read and interpret drawings. Proficient in methods of measurement and re-measurable contracts.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and organizational skills
