This is a key role focused on the inspection, diagnosis, and resolution of damp, mould, and condensation issues across occupied residential properties.You will play a vital role in ensuring homes are safe, compliant, and meet housing standards, while delivering a high-quality, resident-focused service. Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out detailed inspections of residential properties to identify and diagnose causes of damp, mould, and condensationSurvey properties and produce clear, accurate reports with recommended remedial actionsSpecify remedial works and liaise with contractors to ensure appropriate solutions are deliveredMonitor works on site to ensure they are completed to specification, on time, and within budgetEnsure all works and recommendations comply with health and safety regulations and housing legislationLiaise with residents, providing clear communication, technical advice, and managing expectationsWork closely with housing officers, asset management teams, and contractorsMaintain accurate records, reports, and case documentationSupport disrepair and environmental health cases where required Essential RequirementsProven experience in a Damp and Mould / Disrepair / Building Maintenance Surveyor roleStrong background within social housing (
