A busy and well regarded barristers'' chambers in Cardiff is seeking a Family Law Administrator or Legal Assistant to join its established team.This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual with proven family law experience who is looking to develop their career within a specialist and fast paced environment.The RoleThe successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative and legal support to barristers specialising in family law. The role requires a good understanding of family court processes and procedures, along with the ability to manage a busy and varied workload.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging and maintaining electronic and paper case filesPreparing court bundles and legal documentation in line with court rules and deadlinesDrafting correspondence and assisting with the preparation of instructions and briefsLiaising with solicitors, court staff and other professionals involved in family proceedingsDiary management, including listing hearings, conferences and appointmentsHandling sensitive matters with discretion and professionalismAssisting with billing and general administrative duties as requiredCandidate RequirementsPrevious experience working within family law is essentialA clear understanding of family court procedures and documentationStrong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively under pressureExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyConfident IT skills, inc
