Children's Residential Support Worker
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a children’s residential provider based in Birmingham, offering support across multiple homes. The provider delivers a therapeutic, child-centred approach, supporting young people with emotional and behavioural needs in safe and structured environments.
We are looking for a Residential Support Worker to join on a part-time basis, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right Residential Support Worker. The role involves working 12-hour shifts across multiple sites, supporting children and young people with EBD, SEMH and Autism, promoting stability, routine and positive outcomes.
The successful Residential Support Worker will have:
• Level 3 Children and Young People’s Workforce or willingness to work towards
• Experience supporting children with EBD, SEMH or Autism
• Experience working within residential or care settings
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts across multiple sites
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A flexible and proactive ‘can-do’ attitude
