Position: Housing Occupational TherapistSalary: £41,133 £49,059 per annum (DOE)Contract Type: PermanentHours: 36 hours per week, Monday-FridayWorking Pattern: Hybrid 2 days per week in the office Purpose:Supporting adults and children in the community through Occupational Therapy assessments, providing recommendations around adaptations, equipment and housing needs. Job Responsibilities: Assessing adults and children and recommending major and minor adaptations. Supporting Occupational Therapy equipment provision and assessing housing needs. Preparing housing needs reports and advising on rehousing where required. Maintaining accurate records and working in line with relevant legislation, guidelines and standards. Job Requirements: Minimum 12 months post-registration Housing OT or Social Care OT experience. BSc in Occupational Therapy or equivalent, with HCPC registration. Knowledge and understanding of the DFG process, Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act 2005. Enhanced DBS required for adults and children, with the ability to travel around the borough for visits.
