We are looking for a proactive, reliable and hands-on individual with previous experience in a can-making environment who is confident operating production machinery, carrying out changeovers and resolving minor technical issues. The Role As a Plant Operator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and monitoring of can-making equipment, ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining high standards of quality, safety and efficiency. Key responsibilities include: Operating and monitoring Slitter, Welder, Induction, Assembly and Tester machinery. Ensuring production targets are met while maintaining excellent product quality. Carrying out machine settings, adjustments and product size changeovers. Identifying minor faults, performing resets and completing basic troubleshooting. Monitoring equipment performance to minimise downtime and reduce waste. Conducting routine quality checks and reporting any defects or issues.
