You''ll lead both active works and early contractor involvement (ECI) on larger schemes across the Somerset area. This role combines project leadership, stakeholder management, and commercial oversight to ensure smooth and successful delivery. Key Responsibilities Lead multidisciplinary project teams to deliver safe, high-quality projects on time and within budgetBuild strong relationships with stakeholders and local communitiesMaintain full compliance with contracts, governance processes, and industry standardsOversee cost control, forecasting, and project profitabilityPromote a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvementMentor and support team development and knowledge sharing What We''re Looking For Experience managing highways projects for a Tier 1 contractor (up to £15M)Strong knowledge of NEC4 contracts, commercial awareness, and programme deliveryBackground in civil engineering, construction, or related discipline (degree preferred)Understanding of Lean/Six Sigma
