Our client, a thriving consultancy based in Derby are looking for a Health and Safety Consultant to join our team, supporting SME clients, predominantly within the construction industry.Construction and CDM knowledge/experience highly desirable.Starting salary £45,000 - £50,000 depending on experience.Key responsibilities of Health and Safety Consultant to include:Complete construction site inspections and auditsEnsure practical compliance with CDM 2015Review HandS documentation, including Construction Phase Plans (CPPs) and RAMSHelp clients understand and meet their duties as Client / Principal Contractor / ContractorProvide practical advice on controlling common construction risks to include working at height, lifting, excavations/temporary works, plant/traffic management, COSHH, electrical safety and public interfaceConduct incident/near-miss investigations, corrective actions, learning, and RIDDOR guidanceProduce concise, high-quality HandS documentationThe ideal candidate will have:Full UK driving licenceExperience in construcion encironment with knowledge of CDM regulations (desirable)Strong IT skillsExcellent communication skillsGood problem solverAbility to manage own diary and work using own initiativeGood attention to detailNEBOSH General Certificate (or quivelant) is essentialNEBOSH Diploma (or equivelant) desirableNEBOSH Construction (desirable)CSCS card (desirable)Benefits of Health and Safety Consultant to include:Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 depending on experienc
