Educational Psychologist Soulbury Location: Civic Offices, 2 Watling Street, Bexleyheath, Kent, DA6 7AT Start Date: ASAP Contract Duration: 12+ Months Working Hours: Mon Fri, 09 00, 37 Hours per week Pay Rate: £ 80.00 per hour Job Ref: OR9990 Responsibilities Assist in fulfilling the Local Authority s statutory duties concerning the identification, assessment, and provision for children and young people with special educational needs and social, emotional, and mental health needs. Provide psychological advice, consultancy, and support to school staff and others as a key member of a multidisciplinary team to enable children and young people to achieve good outcomes at the SEN Support stage. Deliver efficient and professional psychological services as directed by the Principal Educational Psychologist, adhering to legislation, Council, and Educational Psychology Service policies. Offer information and advice on the developmental and learning needs of children and young people referred to the service, and on effective provision to meet these needs. Contribute to projects/tasks that enhance the authority s service delivery efficiency and effectiveness. Monitor and report on time allocation to work areas and service delivery effectiveness to develop and achieve appropriate service standards.
