The Role As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of groundworks and civil engineering projects from procurement through to final account. Responsibilities will include: • Commercial management of projects from procurement through to final account • Subcontractor procurement and package management • Managing variations, valuations and cost reporting • Monitoring project budgets and ensuring commercial performance • Supporting and mentoring junior commercial team members • Working closely with site teams, project managers and commercial leadership • Maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors and clients The role will play a key part in ensuring projects are delivered profitably while maintaining strong commercial control across all developments.
