Legal Secretary Salary £26,000 - £28,000 Location Wisbech Our client is seeking a highly organised, adaptable and proactive Legal Secretary to provide flexible administrative and secretarial support across the firm. The successful candidate will work across different departments and teams, providing cover for planned and unplanned absences, assisting with periods of increased workload, and supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the office. This is an ideal role for an experienced legal secretary who enjoys variety, working with different people and adapting quickly to changing priorities. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality secretarial and administrative support to solicitors, fee earners and legal teams across the firm. Provide short- and long-term cover for secretarial colleagues during annual leave, sickness absence, training and other periods of absence. Assist teams during particularly busy periods and with additional workloads. Prepare, format and proofread correspondence, legal documents, reports and other documentation. Manage diaries, arrange meetings, appointments and conference calls. Open, maintain and close files in accordance with firm procedures. Assist with document management, filing, photocopying, scanning and electronic filing. Prepare and organise documents for meetings, hearings, conferences and client appointments.
