A leading construction consultancy based in Chislehurst is looking for a Project Manager to join its established project management team on a permanent basis.
 
This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager with experience delivering projects across a range of sectors, including residential, education, healthcare, public sector, commercial and community developments.
 
The successful Project Manager will join a growing consultancy with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality projects for public and private sector clients. This role offers the opportunity to work across a varied portfolio of projects, from refurbishment and regeneration schemes through to new-build developments.
 
The Project Manager''s role:
 
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects from inception through to completion, including feasibility, design development, procurement, construction, handover and close-out.
 
The Project Manager will work closely with clients, architects, consultants, contractors and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered successfully.
 
Responsibilities will include managing project programmes, budgets, procurement strategies, consultant teams and contractor relationships, while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
 
The successful candidate will also support client communication, project reporting and the delivery of multiple projects across a range of sectors.
 
The successful Project Manager will have:
 
- Previous experience working within a construction consultancy environment
- Experience delivering projects across sectors such as residential, education, healthcare, public sector, commercial or community developments
- Experience managing projects through both pre-contract and post-contract stages
- A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying or a related discipline
- MRICS, MAPM or working towards a relevant professional qualification (desirable)
- Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and construction procurement processes
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and organisational skills
- The ability to manage multiple projects and build strong client relationships
- An ambition for a long-term permanent role within a growing consultancy
