This is a fantastic opportunity for an electrically biased engineer looking for a days-based role within a busy production environment. The position is approximately 70% electrical and 30% mechanical, involving a mixture of planned and reactive maintenance across a range of production equipment. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairsDiagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtimeFault-find on PLC systems, motors, drives, sensors and control equipmentMaintain mechanical equipment including conveyors, gearboxes, pumps and bearingsSupport continuous improvement projects and maintain accurate maintenance recordsParticipate in a 1-in-4 on-call rota for out-of-hours breakdowns Skills and Experience Required Recognised electrical qualification (NVQ, BTEC or equivalent), along with 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)Maintenance experience within a manufacturing or production environmentStrong electrical fault-finding skills, including PLC inputs, outputs and analogue signalsPractical mechanical maintenance experience, with the ability to diagnose and repair faults independentlyExperience with motors, drives and industrial machineryA proactive approach to health, safety and ..... full job details .....
