The team deals with a range of private client work including wills and probate, inheritance tax planning, private trusts, estate planning and Lasting Powers of Attorney. There will be extensive client interaction from day one and so you must have the confidence and dynamism to deal with the firm’s high profile client base.A selection of duties will include:Drafting willsPutting together court bundles for contentious mattersDrafting Lasting Power of Attorney documents and probate applicationsCourt of Protection workConducting legal researchLiaising with Counsel and the CourtsIt is essential that you have experience as a fee earner (senior paralegal or legal executive) in a private client team (a minimum of 12 months) and have exceptional organisational, client and communication skills. You must also be proactive in your work.
