Project Engineer

London office, hybrid model, 2 days a week in office

A fast-growing energy technology company is looking for a crucial hire to their technical team to support on engineering activities throughout the full project lifecycle. The group has over a decade of market presence across solar PV, BESS, EV and energy solutions.

The group is a leader within the space with over 300 commerical projects delivered across 6 countries. Their mission is simple, to contribute towards the renewable energy transition through the reduction of energy costs. They partner with major companies across the industry on a similar mission across Europe.

They have strong investors in the space, that are providing strong backing on their growth mission. They are supporting their R&D mission as part of their growing portfolio.

This role sits at the heart of the core of the company within their engineering function and operations team. The core of the role is to provide specialise understanding of the industry and to develop the engineering department. There is scope to build a team around this role too.

The key responsibilities for this role are:

• Managing and overseeing several projects ensuring they are delivered to a high standard and on time.
• Leading the techncial engineering, covering designs and schematics and reviewing of component work.
• Managing relations with BESS providers.
• Configuring these systems within the platforms.
• Overseeing key client relations and managing various stakeholders throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Working on late stages includign commissioning and installations.
• Supporting on continuous research and development.
