Overview The role will oversee the coordinating and scheduling of the shift work ensuring compliance with site and industry safety standards, quality of work standard, providing technical guidance in the resolution of machinery and facility issues, and to ensure compliance with the department s CMM system. This role is key in underpinning all departmental processes and procedures to support all manufacturing operations with regard to breakdowns ensuring a timely resolution. Maximise machine availability, actively promote a pro-active approach and the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, optimising TPM/PPM events to ensure efficiency and reliability and effective usage of departmental time. Introduce new technology in small low cost projects to develop existing planned maintenance routines to provide Reliability Centred Maintenance. Implement shift team project work in close liaison with Projects and Engineering Management to ensure successful implementation. Key Responsibilities Pro-actively Lead and direct all of the tasks associated with maintenance and breakdowns of site equipment and facilities Manage operational safety issues affecting staff on a day to day basis
