Senior Quality InspectorDerbyshire 45,000 - 46,000 + OvertimeDays: Monday - FridayWe''re recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering manufacturer for a Senior Quality Inspector to lead the inspection function and support quality activities across production, goods-in and subcontract operations.This is a hands-on role, combining inspection responsibilities with team leadership, workload planning, non-conformance management and continuous improvement activities. The successful candidate will work closely with Production and Quality leadership to ensure customer and business quality requirements are consistently achieved.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the inspection department.Supervise and support a team of inspectors, including training, performance management and development.Carry out dimensional, visual and goods-in inspection activities.Create and modify CMM programmes.Plan and prioritise inspection workload to meet production and customer requirements.Manage non-conformances and support root cause investigations.Support continuous improvement projects across the manufacturing operation.Maintain high standards of quality, health and safety and compliance.Liaise with Production, Engineering and Quality teams to resolve quality issues and improve performance.About YouPrevious experience in a Senior Quality Inspector, Quality Inspector or Quality Engineering position.Strong dimensional inspection experience within a ..... full job details .....
