Salaried GP

Vine Medical Group isrecruiting a Salaried GP to join our friendly, supportive team in Waterlooville (list size of 25,500). We can consider candidates wishing to work between 4 and 8 sessions per week (to include a Friday).For those who are interestedin Partnership opportunities we are happy to consider this at recruitment stageor at a later date following employment.Our GPs undertake on average 13 x 15-minute facing-patientappointments a session, plus 3 admin slots in order to deliver the best andsafest service we can to our patients. Our salaried GPs have their own patient listonce induction / familiarisation phase has been completed.We have both face-to-face andon-line clinics, as well as home visits, same day care and routineappointments. Our GPs have admin time structured into the working day. Our sameday care is run via a structured triage service managed by our care navigators witha GP Lead and ably supported by Paramedics, Nurses, and HCAs, as well as a MedicineManagement Team lead by clinical pharmacists.As a training practice we are alwaysinterested in supporting GPs with any special interests. To work as an autonomous practitioner, responsible for theprovision of medical services to the practice population, delivering anexcellent standard of clinical care whilst complying with the GMS contract.Furthermore, the post-holder will adhere to the GMC standards for good medicalpractice, contributing to the effective management of the practice, leading byexample, maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with themultidisciplinary team.To see patients in accordance with the practice timetable,including consultations, visiting patients at home, as well as an equitableshare of same day care and extended access appointments.To be able to work and travel between any of our sites andvisit patients out in the communityTo proportionately participate in thedelivery of Enhanced Access hours. (normally 1-2 Saturday AM or Thursday Late PM sessions per year)About us

Provide a full range of medical services as defined inthe core GMS contract, additional and enhanced services where appropriateTo see patients in accordance with the practicetimetable, including consultations (in whatever format) and queries, visitingpatients at home (including care and nursing homes), as well as an equitableshare of same day care and extended access appointments.
