Project Engineer Location: Manchester - 2 Home / 3 days in the officeSalary: 40,000 - 60,000Role OverviewThe Project Engineer will be responsible for managing the engineering delivery of multiple structural steelwork projects, ensuring all designs, drawings, calculations, and technical information are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.The role acts as the primary technical interface between Hare, clients, consultants, and internal teams, coordinating engineering activities across design, detailing, procurement, fabrication, and site through the full project lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesProject and Engineering ManagementManage engineering programmes across multiple structural steel contracts.Coordinate engineering resources, drawing schedules, and deliverables in line with project programmes.Maintain cost awareness and support commercial control through efficient engineering delivery.Ensure all engineering outputs meet quality, programme, and contractual requirements.Client and Stakeholder LiaisonAct as the main technical point of contact for clients, consulting engineers, and design teams.Coordinate closely with internal departments including project management, fabrication, procurement, and site teams.Attend design meetings, coordination meetings, and site meetings as required.Engineering Deliverables and Information ControlManage the production, checking, issue, and approval of:Structural calculationsGA and fabrication dra
