Leader Group is working on behalf of a brand-new specialist school to recruit a passionate and committed SEND Teacher.

About the School

This new specialist setting is designed to support pupils with a range of additional needs, including Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and other SEND profiles.

With a strong focus on personalised learning, small class sizes, and therapeutic support, the school aims to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment where pupils can re-engage with education and thrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
• Support pupils with SEND, including SEMH, to access learning and achieve positive outcomes
• Create a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom environment
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies accordingly
• Work collaboratively with support staff, families, and external professionals

• Contribute to the development of curriculum and school culture as the provision grows

About You

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
• Experience working with pupils with SEND
• Strong classroom management and a nurturing, patient approach
• Ability to differentiate effectively to meet diverse needs
• Passionate about making a difference in a specialist education setting
