You''ll play an important role in ensuring financial records remain accurate, organised and compliant, allowing clients to focus on running their businesses.As all bookkeeping is completed using Xero, applicants must have strong working knowledge of the software and be confident using it on a daily basis.Key Responsibilities:Your workload will include a variety of bookkeeping duties, such as:Maintaining bookkeeping records for a portfolio of clients.Recording sales and purchase transactions, bank activity and journals within Xero.Performing bank, control accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.Assisting with the preparation of VAT returns by ensuring records are complete and accurate.Monitoring shared finance email accounts and responding to bookkeeping enquiries.Liaising with clients and third parties to obtain outstanding information or resolve discrepancies.Reviewing financial data to identify errors, omissions or unusual transactions.Keeping client records up to date while ensuring all deadlines are achieved.Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an efficient and ..... full job details .....
