Area- KidderminsterDay Rate- .00Days: Monday to Thursday: 8:30am - 3:30pmFriday: 8:30am - 1:00pm (for the first 3 weeks)We are looking for a caring and dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with additional needs in our Reception class in Kidderminster. This rewarding role involves helping the child access the curriculum, develop communication and social skills.You will work closely with the class teacher and the SENCO to implement a tailored learning plan, using visual aids, sensory activities, and structured routines to support the child''s development.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide 1:1 support to a child in an Reception classroomAssist with personal care, including toileting and hygieneFacilitate sensory breaks and support emotional regulationMonitor and record progress in line with EHCP targetsBuild a trusting and supportive relationship with the child and their familyCollaborate with teaching staff, external specialists, and therapistsThe Ideal EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant Will Have:Experience working in an EYFS settingExperience supporting children with SEN, ideally non-verbal or with autismA calm, nurturing, and patient approachConfidence in providing personal careGood communication and teamwork skillsA willingness to learn and adapt to the child''s evolving needsRelevant qualifications or training (e.g., Level 2/3 TA, SEN training, safeguarding)Benefits of working with Aspire People:Weekly payPAYE or umbrella pay availableHoliday PayFree Safeguard
