If you would like to submit your CV on a general basis, please follow the link below:PQE: NQ – 2 YrOur client, a leading boutique London law firm, is looking to recruit a lawyer (NQ – 2 yr PQE) with experience in international arbitration, energy, or construction / engineering disputes to join their small team serving established clients on high-quality construction projects.Responsibilities include:Assisting partners and consultants with their matters as requiredHandling smaller matters independently under supervisionDrafting construction and engineering documents, including contracts, letters of intent, warranties, security documents, and documents for contentious matters such as pleadings, instructions to Counsel, and settlement agreementsAdvising clients on contractual interpretation, statutory requirements, and strategic issuesRepresenting clients at mediations, arbitrations, adjudications, and court proceedings when appropriateAssisting with matter administration, including time recording, billing, and engaging third partiesManaging and supervising paralegals and staff where appropriateRecording chargeable time accurately and punctuallyMaintaining records of CPD and non-chargeable activitiesThis is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, motivated lawyer seeking to develop their career in a close-knit, forward-thinking law firm that values quality work over billing targets.
