Your new role As a Maintenance Engineer, you will support the effective operation of plant equipment and machinery. Your responsibilities include:Problem-solving equipment issues and recovering reactive breakdowns.Leading and supporting continuous improvement (C.I.) projects.Completing routine maintenance tasks to minimise downtime and optimise productivity.Installing, relocating, and modifying equipment and machinery.Ensuring maintenance activities comply with safety and regulatory standards.What you''ll need to succeed Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:Understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.Ability to quickly resolve maintenance issues.Knowledge of safety regulations and dynamic risk assessments.Strong communication and time management skills.Experience in identifying and implementing improvements.Need to have:Relevant vocational qualification (e.g., NVQ, ONC, CandG, HNC, HND) with an apprenticeship.Minimum 5 years'' experience in a maintenance/engineering environment.Experience with improvement projects.Good communication skills.Nice to have:Maintenance supervision experience.Experience with heat treatment equipment.Experience wi
