Warehouse and Site Operations Manager – Join the DBL Logistics Team!DBL Logistics is a local, family-owned transport company dedicated to providing top-quality pallet delivery services. We are looking for a hands-on Warehouse and Site Operations Manager to oversee warehouse operations, site logistics, and FLT management, ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient daily operations.This is a hands-on role, where you’ll be actively involved in the day-to-day running of the warehouse, managing goods in and out procedures, optimizing FLT coverage, and ensuring our Warehouse Management System (WMS) is used effectively. You’ll also have overall responsibility for site operations, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency across the business.Responsibilities

Actively managing and supporting a team of FLT drivers , ensuring optimal coverage throughout the dayOverseeing

goods in and out procedures , ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and smooth workflowManaging the Warehouse Management System (WMS)

to maintain stock accuracy and streamline operationsTaking charge of

all site operations , ensuring a safe, organized, and efficient working environmentLeading from the front , being physically involved in warehouse activities when requiredIdentifying inefficiencies and implementing

continuous improvement strategiesMonitoring and reporting on KPIs , ensuring performance targets are consistently metManaging

site safety, security, and compliance , ensuring adherence to all health and safety regulationsAttending

monthly management meetings , reporting on warehouse and site performance, challenges, and improvementsConducting

stock counts, audits, and site inspections

to maintain high operational standardsQualifications and Requirements

Proven experience in hands-on warehouse and site operations managementStrong leadership skills with experience

managing a team of FLT driversA solid understanding of

WMS systems

and experience in their managementAbility to

actively support and allocate FLT coverage

to optimize logistics operationsStrong

organizational and problem-solving skills , with a proactive, hands-on approachExcellent

communication skills , both written and verbalExperience in

site safety, compliance, and operational efficiencyQualifications (Licences and Certifications)

Full UK driving licenceIOSH/NEBOSH certification
