Senior / Project Quantity SurveyorLocation: West Winch, Norfolk/ London/ Kings Lynn Contract Length: 10 months Working Hours: 45 hours per week Rate: 475 per day (Ltd Company) / 550 per day (PAYE Umbrella)The OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Senior / Project Quantity Surveyor to join a major highways infrastructure project for Norfolk County Council at West Winch. The West Winch Housing Access Road project involves the construction of a new 2.5km single carriageway connecting the A10 to the A47, including roundabouts, active travel routes, bridge works, drainage, utility diversions and improvements to the A47 and Hardwick Interchange.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the commercial aspects of assigned work packages from procurement through to final account.Prepare and agree applications for payment, valuations and payment certificates.Produce monthly cost reports, forecasts and commercial reports.Identify and manage contractual risks, opportunities, variations and claims.Manage supply chain procurement, subcontractor negotiations and contract administration.Implement change management and cost control procedures.Liaise with site teams, clients, subcontractors and commercial teams.Provide contractual advice and ensure compliance with company procedures.Support programme delivery while maintaining health, safety and environmental standards.Essential Skills and ExperiencePost-graduate commercial experience within the construction industry.Experience managing procurement and ..... full job details .....
