Core Responsibilities As a key member of the paint team, your duties will include: Surface Preparation: Removing rust, grease, and dirt from metal surfaces. Filling cavities and dents with putty to attain a perfectly smooth finish. Masking and Protection: Carefully masking parts that are not to be painted or coated. Mixing and Matching: Formulating and mixing paint and coating liquids according to exact specifications to produce the desired colours. Application: Painting surfaces expertly using your own spray gun or brush as appropriate. Quality Inspection: Scrutinising painted units for top-tier workmanship, identifying and rectifying any defects such as runs, fisheyes, sags, or unpainted areas.
