I''m currently supporting a well established Law firm in Bedford who is recruitinig for an experienced Legal Assistant / Legal Secretary to join their dynamic and supportive property team, this is a full time office based role. The Role You will play a crucial role in supporting the Head of Department. Your responsibilities will include: Providing comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the Head of Department. Drafting and preparing legal documents, correspondence, and contracts. Managing diaries, scheduling meetings, and liaising with clients and third parties. Handling Land Registry applications and requisitions, SDLT submissions, and Companies House filings. Assisting with file management, document production, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Processing invoices, billing, and handling confidential client information with discretion. The Candidate To be successful in this role, you should have: Previous experience as a legal secretary or assistant in property department. Excellent communication and organisational skills with a keen eye for detail. The ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
