Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced Team Manager to join the Family Support and Safeguarding Team for London Borough of Barking and Dagenham. Duties and Responsibilities: Managing the delivery of statutory social work services to children and families, ensuring compliance with legislation and guidance. Supervising and supporting a team of Social Workers and practitioners to deliver high-quality safeguarding services. Ensuring services are delivered within budget and meet agreed quality standards. Overseeing referrals to ensure children and families receive appropriate and timely interventions. Maintaining high standards of professional practice, performance, and case management across the team. Contributing to service development, implementing operational procedures, and promoting best practice through legislation and research. Participating as part of the management team and representing the service in multi-agency settings. Providing regular supervision, appraisal, and performance management to staff, ensuring continuous development and service improvement. Working Pattern: Hybrid working Pay Rate: 45.20 p/h Umb Essential Requirements: Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent Minimum 3 years'' experience in children''s social care Management experience within safeguarding or family support services Social Work England Registration Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding procedures Benefits of working
