Team Leader

We are recruiting for a Supervisor /Team Leader for a global logistics delivery company
This is a brand-new role and requires a good all-rounder who has experience managing a small team in the Customer Services/Client Services arena ideally.

The role will require you to manage a small team team of client services advisors and deal with the day to day running of the department
The role will report directly into the Head of Client Services, and you will be responsible for ensuring the team are meeting all deadlines and business markers to ensure the service is running smoothly on time and on budget
Duties
Day to day management of a small team of Client Service Advisors, answering any questions, queries, or issues they have
Keep team training up to date and offer guidance in any areas they may need assistance with
Deal with escalations from the team in regard to delivery issues, deadlines, and any costing issues
Liaison with all areas of business ; Stakeholders, Management, Warehouse, logistics and fulfilment to update and deal with any issues that need addressing
Supporting the Head of Client Services in the day to day running of the department
Laison with clients to keep them updated on delivery service
Generation of system reports ; aware of end of play business and any areas that may need addressing and focusing on
This is a busy role and requires someone with patience, resilience and a passion for delivering excellent service across the board to meet company expectations and business deadlines
Skills and Experience
Proven experience in a Team Leader/Supervisory role in managing a small team – ideally customer services or similar
Proven experience in basic team training ideally – identifying training areas that need addressing etc
Experience in dealing with stakeholders /Snr Management and delivering results and reports
Report generation and excellent IT skills ; excel etc
Excellent communication skills, happy leading a team, inspiring them and develop skill set
Working Hours
Mon – Fri
8.00am – 4.00 pm or 9.00am – 5.00pm
Based full time in their Offices in Thamesmead
Salary £30k circa
23 days holidays
