Our client, a design-led subcontractor specialising in design and build (DandB) ceiling and partition fitouts, is looking to strengthen their design team with the appointment of a Technical Designer / CAD Technician.

The Team:

* A robust technical design team who specialise in ceilings and partitions

* Includes both 2D CAD and 3D BIM design professionals

* Collaborative culture – everyone works together to problem-solve and drive innovation

* Currently working towards BIM Accreditation, offering future growth into 3D design and modelling

The Role:

As a Technical Designer / CAD Technician, you will:

* Produce detailed 2D construction drawings, including floor plans, sections, and elevations

* Translate architectural concepts into fully buildable technical designs

* Collaborate with the Design Manager and other Technical Designers

* Support live projects, ensuring design accuracy and buildability

* Begin to develop skills in BIM and 3D modelling, as part of the company’s ongoing BIM journey

What We’re Looking For:

* Strong AutoCAD proficiency

* Proven experience producing technical construction drawings

* Ideally from a fit-out background, with knowledge of drylining, partitions, and ceilings

* A collaborative approach and eye for technical detail
