PSR Solutions are working in partnership with a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor to recruit an experienced Senior Building Services Manager to join their established and growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded construction business with a strong reputation, an impressive project portfolio and a substantial pipeline of secured work.

The business continues to place significant emphasis on its building services capabilities, recognising the importance of M&E throughout the pre-construction and delivery stages of major construction projects.

Initially London-based, the successful candidate will subsequently move onto a major project within the Northern Home Counties.

The successful candidate will have a genuine opportunity to influence projects from an early stage, taking a leading role in pre-construction, design management and technical coordination before seeing those projects through to successful delivery.

You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced construction professionals, influence key project decisions and take ownership of the building services function on major schemes.

• Leading and managing the building services function across major construction projects.

• Taking ownership of M&E design management and coordination from pre-construction through to delivery.

• Managing and coordinating specialist M&E subcontractors and consultants.

• Reviewing design information, technical submissions and installation strategies.

• Working closely with commercial, planning and construction teams to ensure successful project delivery.

• Driving programme, quality, commissioning and handover objectives.

• Providing technical leadership and guidance to the wider project team.

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners.

• Ensuring building services strategies are aligned with the wider construction programme.

• Proven experience operating as a Senior Building Services Manager or experienced Building Services Manager within a Tier 1 Main Contractor.

• Strong technical understanding of mechanical and electrical building services.

• Extensive experience managing M&E packages on major construction projects.

• A strong background in pre-construction, design management and coordination.

• Experience managing specialist subcontractors and multidisciplinary project teams.

• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to take ownership of the building services function and drive projects forward.
