As our representation expands, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Machine Shop and Fabrication support engineer. The Fitter will provide support to the gearbox repair department by dismantling and assembling of all types of industrial gearboxes and pumps/fans/blowers/motors within Industrial rotating equipment. whilst providing a detailed inspection report highlighting operational issues with the machine being assessed. Working Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30-4:00pm Main Duties: Involvement of day-to-day workshop in relation to quality, HandS and environmental activities. Dismantling of all types of gearboxes producing concise accurate reports for management Building, stripping and fitting of pumps, fans, blowers and motors within industrial rotating equipment. Assembling gearboxes accurately so they are ready for installation Interpret engineering data and documentation such as engineering drawings, technical data and computer-generated programmes To be able to work under minimum supervision, taking responsibility for the quality and accuracy of the work you undertake Be pro-active in finding solutions to problems and identifying areas for improving the business Ensure standard work practices and procedures are being followed Responding to emergency situations The
