Production Operative 

Pertemps Burton are currently recruiting for Production Operatives to join an exciting company based in Burton on Trent. 

Position: Production Operative
Location: Burton on Trent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm & 1pm-9pm rotating weekly. 
Pay Rate: £12.76 per hour
Length: Temp to Perm 

Production Operative Duties:

• Assemble and document starting materials as specified on batch manufacturing and batch packing records
• Aseptically manufacture medicinal products in accordance with local department procedures and Good Manufacturing Practice
• Visually inspect, label and pack finished products ready for final checks and batch release
• Work in a controlled clean room environment and wear clean room clothing in accordance with local department procedures
• Under the direction of department supervisors and managers ensure adequate stock is available and ordered to ensure the smooth running of the department
• Order and receive stock and ensure any discrepancies are identified, investigated and reconciled within a timely manner
• Ensure environmental conditions are maintained and monitored in accordance with department procedures as required and assist in other monitoring and validation activities as appropriate
• Ensure all entries on all GMP documents are clearly written and recorded at the time the activity is performed
• Assisting in the completion of NCRs, CAPAs and the writing and reviewing of SOPs.

• Demonstrated experience of working in a regulated production environment
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or hospital pharmacy setting (desirable)
• Able to work alone or as part of team.
• Good attention to detail and able to follow standard operating procedures.
