Space Systems Engineer - OBDH and Avionics Role Overview: We are seeking a specialist Space Systems Engineer to act as the technical lead for the On-Board Data Handling (OBDH) subsystem. You will be the "architect of the satellite''s brain," managing the end-to-end data chain from sensors to transmitters. This role bridges the gap between high-level mission design and hardware implementation, requiring expertise in avionics, data protocols, and supplier management. Key Responsibilities: Subsystem Ownership: Lead the design, specification, and architecture of the OBDH and Avionics suites through Phases B, C, and D.Technical Management: Manage external equipment suppliers for key hardware including OBCs (On-Board Computers), MMFUs, and RIUs.Interface Design: Define and manage data handling interfaces and protocols across the spacecraft.Collaboration: Act as the primary technical point of contact between mission architects and hardware manufacturing teams.
