This is a varied and hands-on position within a supportive finance team, offering the chance to build on your management accounting experience while gaining exposure to key financial reporting and business operations.Working closely with senior finance colleagues, you will play an important role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting month-end processes, and helping maintain the smooth running of day-to-day finance activities.This role would suit someone currently working as a Senior Finance Assistant, Assistant Accountant, or Assistant Management Accountant who is looking to take the next step in their career.ResponsibilitiesAssist with the preparation of monthly management accountsPost journals, including accruals, prepayments and adjustmentsComplete balance sheet reconciliations and resolve any discrepanciesSupport weekly and monthly reporting requirementsAssist with budgeting activities and variance analysisMonitor cash flow and support forecasting processesMaintain accurate financial records across accounting systemsAssist with purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control activities when requiredSupport payment processing and bank reconciliationsKey Skills:AAT Level 4 qualification or be close to completing itPrevious experience supporting management accounts and month-end processesStrong Excel skills and experience using accounting ..... full job details .....
